Signing In & Account Security

Overview​

The Admin Portal uses email and password authentication. There is no Google or Microsoft sign-in — all admin accounts are provisioned manually by a project administrator or super admin.

Signing In​

  1. Go to https://devadmin.chartchathealth.com (or your environment's admin URL)
  2. Enter your email address and password
  3. Click Sign In
  4. If your account has MFA enabled, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
  5. You will land on the Dashboard home screen

First-Time Login​

Admin accounts are created by a project administrator who sends you an invitation email. The email contains a link to set your password.

  1. Open the invitation email and click the password setup link
  2. Enter a new password and confirm it
  3. Click Set Password
  4. You will be redirected to the sign-in page — sign in with your email and new password

If you do not receive the invitation email, check your spam folder or ask the admin who invited you to resend it.

Forgotten Password​

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Click Send Reset Link
  4. Open the email and click the reset link
  5. Enter your new password and confirm it
  6. Sign in with your new credentials

Password reset links expire after a short time and can only be used once.

Changing Your Password​

Once signed in, you can change your password from the Security page:

  1. Click Security in the left sidebar (or navigate to /security)
  2. Enter your current password
  3. Enter and confirm your new password
  4. Click Change Password

Alternatively, use Change Password from the account menu at the top right.

Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)​

MFA is optional but recommended for all admin accounts. It adds a second step to sign-in — a one-time code from an authenticator app on your phone.

Enabling MFA​

  1. Navigate to /mfa or click MFA Setup in your account settings
  2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, or similar)
  3. Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app to confirm setup
  4. MFA is now active on your account

Signing In with MFA​

After entering your email and password, you will be prompted for a 6-digit code. Open your authenticator app and enter the current code for ChartChat.

If You Lose Access to Your Authenticator App​

Contact a super administrator. They can use the Force Set Password tool to reset your credentials and disable MFA on your account.

Signing Out​

Click the Sign Out link in the navigation (or navigate to /signout). Your session is immediately terminated.
